ColdFusion 8

I admit now that I like ColdFusion. While it does lack things that I was comfortable working with in PHP, I have to say I have not missed working with PHP that much over the past year. I am probably about as proficient in CF as I am in PHP at this point.

One thing that I can say is that I am looking forward to CF8 being released much more so than PHP 6. While both releases will be significant milestones, I see more practical uses for CF8 over PHP 6 (or PHP 5 while we are at it). The .net / java integration will make up for anything that I lose with not using PHP.

What a difference a year makes.
