Conversations

I am about 60% done (well, with the beta stuff) with my new module called 'Conversations'. It is my first attempt into playing with some of the Web2.0 buzz words with Xaraya. Conversations is not much more than a forum, but it can be used for many other applications that use direct user input to discuss topics (IE, Blog).

The hard part has been the javascript which I have never been that great with. I have managed to use Prototype to do my AJAX calls to update and edit fields in real time. I have to say it does add some usability to the modify configuration screens to update on the fly.

I plan on writing a tuturial of my plight. In the meantime you can check the progress on my subversion tree.

I hope to have a BETA up and running this weekend as the majority of the API is now complete. I just need to work on a design and finish the UI at this point...
