iTunes on Vista

Out of no where today, my iTunes began crashing on application load. I would get an error along the lines of "iTunes has stopped working" from Vista. It would momentarily load, and then stop working.

I think I figured out the cause, but not 100% sure. The Apple Software Update loads when iTunes loads, so the actual problem was a conflict between it and iTunes and Vista. When I loaded the Apple Software Update manually, there was a new version of iTunes waiting to be downloaded.

Once installed, everything went back to normal. I am not 100% this was the cause, but at least it started working for me again.
